Big news in the last couple of days:
This was supposed to be Dad's last day at Finning Tractor! In the eleventh hour, however, they announced a buyout for early retirees. Luckily his official notice hadn't been submitted so he can work Nov and Dec and now get the buyout!
Our friends Harold and Kathy are having a baby. The announcement is hilarious, so I'm including it below:
And lastly, one of my favourite pieces of real estate is now up for sale!!! Chris Czajkowski located the spot by topo map and managed to get a lease from the BC government. She build the cabins by herself with a chainsaw and a come-along. It is hard to describe the remoteness of this place and the stunning beauty!!
